Air Force Project Management
We have an immediate opening for a Consultant in the National Capitol Region for daily on-site support at Andrews Air Force Base, MD supporting Air Force Logistics Readiness Division (HAF/A4L) on project management responsibilities related to the transition from the Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS) to the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of project management, be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and have a strong Air Force logistics background in supply.  Successful candidates should have experience and knowledge of managing IT projects (cost, schedule, performance) and have strong MS Office skills to include MS Project.  Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey ideas and concepts to senior decision-makers.  Candidates must have a combination of a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in consulting and project management.

Cerner Trainers - DHMSM Genesis Program (Expected in summer 2019)

BlueRidge expects to have multiple opportunities for full-time Cerner trainers in support of the Military Health System (MHS) Genesis Program. The Department of Defense is deploying a new Electronic Health Record to all Military Treatment Facilities (MTF). This opportunity is for Cerner trainers who will train end-users to ensure the new solution is rapidly adopted. The position is 100% travel (typically 2 to 3 weeks on site and then home for an extended weekend and then returning to site). Verification training is provided at Cerner Campus in Kansas City to orient candidates to the solution which is significantly different than typical Cerner configurations (to accommodate military requirements). Position requirements include:

  • US Citizen
  • 2+ Years of Cerner Training/At-The-Elbow experience
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background check
  • Ability to pass basic Cerner skills test during interview
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong English and clear speaking skills
  • Basic technical skills (e.g., operate a desktop computer, use a tablet computer)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (e.g., open and read documents)
  • Basic internet skills (e.g., connect device to internet, complete web forms)
  • 100% weekly travel in US
  • Ability to work night shifts if required
